Chapter 15 won't work.
Chapter 15 won't work.
After the first repair was completed, when the vector stood up, it took a moment to adjust.
The feeling of lightness that made my right leg float when I put weight on it disappeared, and the discomfort in my chest was no longer as bad as before. Even the string of annoying little errors inside my forearm was gone.
She lowered her head, moved her fingers, and then tried to take two steps forward.
The machine wasn't fully repaired yet, but it was a step away from falling apart at any moment.
Red Spider stood by the control panel, not even looking up, and spoke calmly:
That's all for today's first phase.
"Don't do any strenuous movements tonight. The new stabilizing structure on your right leg and chest still needs another round of adaptation."
He paused, then finally looked up and glanced at her.
"Come on the day after tomorrow according to the schedule. Don't be late."

When the vector returned, Zhen Tianzun was sitting at the dining table eating energy liquid.
As soon as she entered the room, the other person's gaze lingered on her for a moment, landing precisely on her chest and right leg.
A few seconds later, he slowly spoke:
"You're not someone who can be blown away by a gust of wind now."
Yin Xiang closed the door behind him, and upon hearing this, glanced up at him.
"Is this considered a 'showcase'?"
Zhen Tianzun scoffed but didn't reply.
The room was silent for two seconds, then the vector finally spoke:
"When exactly did you install that thing?"
Zhen Tianzun didn't even pause.
"The first time you used a charging bed."
He spoke casually, and even took another bite of the energy drink.
"He pretended while he was asleep."
Yin Xiang stood there, frowning, raising his hand to rub his temples, telling himself: Yin Xiang, hold back, you can't beat him.
She wasn't entirely unaware of what was going on, but hearing him say it so casually still made her so angry she wanted to unleash a shrewish roar right there and then.
"You're malfunctioning. You really should get your machine fixed."
"I've looked at it." Zhen Tianzun said casually, "The conclusion is that I'm fine."
The vector was choked and could only manage a cold laugh through its nose.
"The red spider has already found that thing."
"I know." Zhen Tianzun glanced at her. "You weren't slow to figure it out."
"You're quite proud of yourself?"
"At least it shows that his optical glasses aren't blinding."
The vector is completely speechless.
She was too lazy to argue with this bastard over the listening device anymore, so she simply put it on the table.
"The first phase of repairs is complete." She paused, then added, "The complete machine repair is done in four phases."
His gaze first fell back on her, to confirm exactly how much she had finished fixing it when she said "it's finished."
After a few seconds, he said casually, "It's alright."
As soon as he finished speaking, Zhen Tianzun turned on the listening device on the table, glanced at it for a couple of seconds, probably to make sure that Red Spider hadn't tampered with it.
Then, with a flick of his wrist, he threw the little thing directly at her.
"Take it back."
He caught the vector with his hand, glanced down at it, and briefly closed the optical lens.
"You really don't intend to act like a normal person at all."
"Normally, no one would lend out 200,000 and then let the machine go off to see Red Spider alone," Zhen Tianzun said casually.
Vector didn't bother arguing with him, and bent down to clip the listening device back into a slot on his side armor. The location was so conspicuous that it could be seen with a simple glance down, a completely different approach from the previous underhanded method of hiding it near an old wound.
She was expecting Zhen Tianzun to find fault, but he only glanced at her and didn't say anything.
The vector looked up at him: "Don't you think my disguise wasn't discreet enough?"
Zhen Tianzun picked up the energy liquid and continued drinking.
"Just make sure it doesn't fall."
The vector silently rolled its eyes.
A few seconds later, Zhen Tianzun spoke again: "How's the arrangement on his side?"
Yin Vector pulled out a chair, sat down, raised his left forearm, and brought up the newly connected terminal projector.
Zhen Tianzun's gaze lingered on the new small device for half a second.
"Did he install it for you?"
"Otherwise what?" Yin Vector looked down and swiped open the scheduling interface. "After he heard that I didn't even have a mobile device, he was so disgusted that he wanted to return me on the spot."
This thing was just installed on her by Red Spider today. When she heard that she didn't even have a decent mobile terminal in her body, the other party's expression was so disgusted that it was almost rude. In the end, she still personally connected the terminal to her left forearm.
"He's pretty quick."
The vector did not respond to his evaluation.
"We'll start going there the day after tomorrow. Repairs and working hours will be calculated together, and the entire machine repair will be done in four phases. We'll have one day off each week, and the rest of the time will be according to his schedule."
Zhen Tianzun glanced at the schedule, and after a few seconds, he spoke calmly: "It's quite full."
The vector returned the terminal projection to its original position, its tone calm.
"Work hours will be deducted from my pay, of course I won't leave my workspace empty for nothing."
Zhen Tianzun had no idea whether to comment or not, and made no further comment.

In the following week of Star Trek, the vector was shuttling back and forth between the two routes every day.
I would leave home before dawn to catch the earliest public transport to Qingqiu City; and return at night with a head full of newly crammed terminology, structural diagrams, and parametric logic.
The completion of the first phase of repairs didn't mean she was immediately relieved. Her body was readjusting, and the pace was forcibly accelerated; her right leg and chest still felt sluggish from exhaustion every day when she returned home.
Not to mention that the Red Spiders simply don't have the patience to "mentor newcomers".
He would provide terminology, procedures, and instructions, but when he got critical and sarcastic, she almost thought she had run into her old high school homeroom teacher.
While taking notes, he also guessed and relied on his own efforts to go back and fill in the gaps in the information that he hadn't explained clearly.
But the more she learned, the clearer one thing became in her mind.
These things are real. They're like basic anatomy and Cybertronian parametric logic.
So no matter how tired she was, she still studied very hard.
A week after the Star Wars, she finally returned one day and spoke to Zhen Tianzun.
"Could I stay in Qingqiu City for a while?"
The once calm expression on Zhen Tianzun's face vanished almost instantly.
"no."
The vector frowned.
"If I keep running around like this every day, I'll eventually be worn out."
Zhen Tianzun looked up at her, his tone a little cold.
"If you move in now, what's the difference between that and handing yourself over to Red Spider?"
Yin Xiang opened his mouth, but did not refute it for a moment.
That's definitely true.
