Chapter 50: Elder Mang Lao! And his wives
During night time!
"Ahem* Ahem*" (clears throat )
"Ah, the esteemed Elder Mang Lao, a respected figure among our sect indeed, I heard he made a great breakthrough last month and has been in seclusion since then in hopes of obtaining enlightenment and gaining profound wisdom," One of the disciples uttered.
A few disciples were having a friendly chat.
"Indeed! Despite his advanced years, his spirit remains as vibrant as the wisps of white hair that crown his weathered brow... Those piercing eyes, sharp as the finest jade daggers, seem to gaze into the very depths of one's soul, yet they are tempered by a warmth and kindness that puts even the most anxious of disciples at ease...
When I first met him, I was scared but he was really kind, I am very honored to be his disciple," another one uttered.
Just then, Elder Mang Lao came out of seclusion, his aura blazing like the sun, vast like sky.
His movements, though slow and deliberate, carry an undeniable grace - the product of a lifetime of disciplined practice.
"Greetings Junior... It seems you guys are having fun, instead of dual cultivating or seeking enlightenment... Must be nice to have time together with only boys, huh?"
His voice, while raspy with age, still commands attention when he speaks, imparting words of profound wisdom that belie his humble demeanor.
It is no wonder that the younger members of the sect look upon Mang Lao with reverence, for he embodies the very essence of what it means to be a true master of the Way.
His patience is unending, his insight unparalleled, and his dedication to the sect's teachings is absolute, he is a perfect man, absolutely PERFECT.
Yet, beneath that stern, sage-like exterior beats the heart of a man who has not forgotten the joy and wonder of life.
"Greetings Elder Mang Lao,"
"Ummm! I am enlightened, senior!"
"Ah! Ha! Ha! Such divine and profound wisdom, I find meaning in life,"
"Senior is truly full of wisdom and grace, this junior is delighted to receive your guidance,"
Elder Mang Lao's eyes danced with mischief as he observed the rapt attention of the young disciples. "Ah, but you know, the dance of yin and yang is not merely a physical one," He leaned in conspiratorially. "There are subtler energies at play - the caress of the wind upon the skin, the tickle of a butterfly's wings..."
His gnarled fingers traced invisible patterns in the air. "The true adept learns to feel these primal forces, to channel them through the body until every nerve ending sings with the symphony of creation," Mang Lao's voice dropped to a whisper.
"And when two such beings join, the heavens themselves tremble with the force of their union,"
The old master paused, gauging the reactions of his pupils. "But I digress. You young ones still have much to learn." He chuckled, the lines on his face deepening.
"Perhaps one day, I shall introduce you to the finer arts of dual cultivation. For now, focus on mastering the basics - and remember, patience and reverence are the keys to unlocking true ecstasy,"
"Well now! As much as I'd enjoy the company of such fine young students, I'm afraid duty calls elsewhere this evening,"
With a sly smile, he added, "You see, my dear wives await me in our chambers. It would not do to keep them waiting, hmm?" He chuckled softly, his weathered features radiating a sense of contentment.
Turning to leave, the elder paused and cast a sidelong glance at the stunned disciples. "Make sure to hold my teaching,"
While Elder returned to his chamber in hopes of embracing his two wives... The two wives were in the company of someone else.
