Li Chen secretly smiled to himself and started to get organized.
The day was spent in busyness until the afternoon when, after seeing the last patient and Xu Jia's departure, he finally relaxed.
Killing time on his phone, as the end of the workday approached, Yuan Qingying came in.

"Li Chen, here's the bank card you gave me yesterday. I used eighty thousand, the rest is all there. Don't worry, I'll definitely pay you back," she said.
Li Chen took it with a smile, "Sister, don't put too much pressure on yourself. I'm not in a rush; take your time to pay it back."
He could only comfort her like that, facing such a stubbornly proud woman.
"Thank you. I really didn't know what I would have done without you," she opened up, in the privacy of the clinic, just the two of them.
"We're like siblings; no need for such formality. Yeah, and you're not going back to that bar to work again, right?" Li Chen recalled and asked.
Seeing Yuan Qingying shake her head, he felt a weight lift from his heart.
A brief silence fell between them.
Li Chen looked at the beautiful figure before him, his eyes lingering on her fair, slender hands and suddenly remembering the events of the previous night.
A yearning stirred within his lower belly.
