"That new girl uses water magic, it's amazing! She can even change the weather! She can make it suddenly rain from a sunny day!"
Natsu was shouting in the guild, talking about the wonders he had seen.
The sky was clear and sunny outside, but as soon as Juvia went out, it immediately turned cloudy and a light drizzle began to fall.
"Natsu, stop yelling! Don't you know Juvia has been bothered by this? She came to our guild specifically to get treatment for this problem, so stop spreading it around!"
Mira scolded Natsu, telling him to stop talking nonsense. Juvia didn't think it was cool at all; she had been deeply troubled by it.
"Why?! It's just so cool!"
Natsu stood his ground, not afraid of Mira's scolding since Mira hadn't really hit him much. If it were Moen or Erza, Natsu definitely wouldn't stand up to her, unless he was bursting with confidence and thought he could defeat them.
I don't know whether to call Natsu indomitable and tenacious, or just a jerk who deserves a beating.
Every now and then, he would be bursting with confidence and want to challenge Moen and Erza. After getting beaten up, he would behave for a while. After a while, he would start to burst with confidence again, and so on.
"Snap!"
Natsu's attitude enraged Mira, who, in a fit of anger, slashed down with her palm, splitting the table in front of Natsu in two.
"Gurgle."
Natsu swallowed hard and took a step back.
Happy, mouth agape, hid behind Natsu, looking at Mira as if she were some humanoid Greymon.
"I told you not to say it, so don't say it!"
Mira glared at Natsu, directly suppressing him with her aura.
"I'm fine."
Natsu promptly admitted defeat, stammering that he was truly overwhelmed by Mira's imposing aura; Mira was indeed quite ferocious!
"snort!"
Mira stopped paying attention to Natsu and went to find Juvia. Juvia was in the library, and Moen and President Makarov were also there.
Mira felt a deep empathy and sympathy for Juvia's plight. Juvia was luckier than her family because she met Moen earlier and had not yet suffered more misfortune.
But Juvia's problem is more serious than hers. Juvia's mood affecting the weather is much harder to solve than her demonic arm.
"Erza, Mira, Moen, Laxus? I'll defeat you all one day! I'm the strongest!"
Only after Mira left did Natsu dare to mutter his complaints in a low voice.
"And me? You haven't defeated me yet."
Gray popped out from behind Natsu and added a comment.
"You bastard Gray! I'll beat you right now!"
Gray's words enraged Natsu almost immediately. Natsu roared and lunged at Gray. The two started fighting as soon as they met. Happy watched from the sidelines, cheering Natsu on.
Soon a group of boys gathered around, and Elfman, Troy, and Jet watched the two fight with great interest.
These boys don't care about any new girls. All they do all day is eat, drink, relieve themselves, train, and fight. They can't go far from home, so they don't have much to do besides fighting.
The girls' side was different. They all surrounded Juvia, comforting and reassuring her. Juvia's plight and situation made the children very worried and sympathetic towards her.
"Alright, alright, stop crowding around here. I know you're concerned about Jubia, but Grandpa Makarov and I will figure out a solution to her problem. You won't be able to help by crowding around here."
Moen was annoyed by the chattering and couldn't concentrate on his book, so he went to chase them away.
"Who says we can't help?! We have Levy here!"
A girl retorted, and Moen looked at her; she had healthy, tanned skin and wore a cat hat.
"Sister Qi Ke? You're here too."
Moen was stunned for a moment. He hadn't noticed that Mingqi was the tallest and stood out among the children.
"What do you mean I'm here too?! I've been here the whole time!"
Kiko muttered to herself, speechless for a moment. Was her presence really that insignificant?! No wonder Laxus never noticed her.
"Ahem, don't worry about the details."
Moen coughed awkwardly twice. Qi Ke's presence was indeed very low. Even though she was standing there, no one could notice her at all.
Upon closer reflection, Qi Ke did seem to have always been there. She was the daughter of the girls' dormitory landlord, and she often went along to make arrangements for new students. However, it was as if she had never existed in his memory.
Moen felt that this situation was also related to Kiko's magic, just like Juvia's, which was obviously abnormal.
Kiko's magic is an urban legend magic that can gather various wandering spirits of Magnolia to fight, but it will lose its effect as soon as it leaves Magnolia and must be gathered again. She is essentially a Magnolia earthbound spirit. She rarely goes out to do quests and spends most of her time in the guild.
"Sister Qi Ke, you should also think of a way to solve this problem."
Looking at Qi Ke, Mo En said very seriously.
"Let's deal with Juvia's problem first."
Kiko sighed, not responding to Moen's words, but instead looking at Juvia.
"That's true, Juvia's case is more serious, we need to deal with it as soon as possible."
Moen nodded, but he reminded himself that he had to think about Qi Ke. Although this ability was very powerful, it was not being noticed and had a significant impact on his daily life.
"."
Kiko shook her head. She didn't have any hope for it. In fact, Moen had mentioned this before, but it was obvious that Moen would forget about it soon and wouldn't remember it the next time he noticed her.
She's sixteen years old this year and has been in Fairy Tail for many years. Chairman Makarov has thought about helping her solve her problems, but he forgets about it after a while.
She's gotten used to it after all these years.
Kiko's only worry is probably not being noticed by the person she likes.
They used to play together a lot when they were little and before she awakened her magic, but now even he rarely notices her anymore.
Moen quickly shifted his gaze from Kiko to Levy, who looked serious. Levy would also try her best for Juvia's sake. Although she was young, she had read quite a lot of books and might be able to find a solution.
"It was my fault, so let's all work together to improve."
Moen smiled and readily admitted his slip of the tongue. He suggested that everyone help search together, as the library had so many books and searching together would be faster. However, he still felt that the chances were slim, as Juvia's situation was rather unique.
Let's all keep going!
The girls cheered and began helping to find the book. This scene made Juvia's nose tingle. She felt numb in her hands and feet and didn't know how to respond to everyone's sincere concern. She hadn't felt this kind of genuine emotion in a long time.
Juvia looked at Moen, who had already picked up the book again and was seriously flipping through it. Moen hadn't lied to her after all; Fairy Tail really was a place like a big family.
"Smack."
Makarov threw the book down and scratched his head. He was also at a loss. This was the first time he had seen Jubia's situation, and he couldn't recall any book that recorded how to deal with it. Searching for more information would be futile.
"We need to think of another way!"
Looking at Moen, who was still flipping through the book, Makarov spoke decisively.
I think so too.
Moen put down his book, took a sip of tea, and echoed his sentiment.
A week has passed, and they have almost searched the entire library.
As it turns out, Juvia was the first case Fairy Tail encountered, and possibly the first case in its history.
"Actually, I feel that Juvia's condition has improved significantly recently."
As he sipped his tea, Moen began to speak.
In order to complete the mission, Moen has been focusing his attention on Juvia recently, so he has a pretty good grasp of Juvia's situation. After arriving at Fairy Tail for a week, Juvia's condition has been visibly improving as she gradually integrates into the family.
"Mount, is it possible that we don't actually need to try so hard, and Juvia might just adjust on her own?"
Makarov spoke with a strange expression. He could tell, of course, that whether or not it rained around Juvia was mainly influenced by her mood. He hoped that the atmosphere of "Fairy Tail" could help stabilize her emotions and dispel the gloom in her heart.
"Possibly."
Moen nodded; that was certainly possible.
"But that's no reason for us not to try, and perhaps it's our collective effort that has improved her condition."
Moen smiled. In any case, their efforts over the past few months had not been in vain. Juvia was at least a little more normal. Although it was still often cloudy, it had stopped raining at times, which was a huge improvement for Juvia!
"You little brat"
Hearing Moen's words, Makarov smiled with satisfaction. Moen always satisfied him and always managed to grasp the true meaning of "Fairy Tail" and understand what created the spirit and essence of this guild.
