Chapter 264 Mykel's origin.
Chapter 264 Mykel's origin.
Mykel readied the final step up the stairs and he looked at the blinding light in front of him. He couldn't see the person that was sitting on the throne, and neither did Elena and Amaryllis. No matter how hard they squinted their eyes, the light kept shining brightly and it started to hurt their eyes.
The moment The Lord stood up, Elena readied her stance, but when the light started to dim, she was shocked. The Lord looked exactly like Mykel, and then the white sky and vast space turned into darkness.

She wasn't the only one who saw it, but Amaryllis was also looking at the same thing as her. On the other hand, Mykel was still looking at the same thing as he arrived except he could see The Lord's appearance now.
"How long has it been, Mykel?" Helen asked with a cigarette in her mouth.
"Are you going to use that body from now on?" Mykel asked.
"It wasn't me who made me look like this, but it's your consciousness. You knew me in this body, so your mind is playing games on you," Helen answered. "Those two, on the other hand, the perfect figure of The Lord is you. So they see me as you in this case," Helen pointed out as she smoked her cigarette.
Mykel glanced at Elena and Amaryllis and noticed they were saying something but he couldn't hear what they said. It appeared that they were in different dimensions but in the same reality.
"I'm surprised that you realized that Helen is nothing but a facade. How did you find that out?" Helen asked as she walked toward Mykel.
"I know Helen is crazy in the head, but she never faked her expressions when she's around me. It was easy to read," Mykel answered. "Also, the fact you encourage me to do whatever I want, the fact you said that we both are survivors, that sounds like you knew me more than anyone else, more than Helen knows me," Mykel continued.
"She was too calm for someone who knew the truth, and how she didn't fear Gods even though she saw everything," Mykel pointed out and looked at how Helen smiled at him. "The most important thing is that you can't lie, you're someone who can only tell the truth while Helen is someone who would lie to joke around," Mykel continued.
Helen hummed as she put her hands on her back and realized the flaw in her acting skills.
"In the end, you're not perfect like me, a human," Mykel said and stared at Helen coldly. "You can't die, you can't lie, and lastly you don't even have a form or an appearance," Mykel continued with a smirk.
"You're saying as if you know your own origin, Mykel," Helen said and stared back at Mykel. "You're not my creation, you never were. You're something that I have been trying to erase," Helen continued without blinking her eyes.
"No, my goal is to erase you from this world. Your third option would only keep yourself alive and let me what? Become your subordinate and let me live peacefully as long as we don't bother each other?" Mykel pointed out.
Helen was speechless, and then she frowned as she sighed and nodded her head with understanding.
"If that's what you want then so be it. I couldn't stop you from finding the truth either," Helen said as she stood up and snapped her fingers.
The whole place became white and nothing else could be seen but vast space. Elena and Amaryllis looked around and they couldn't see anything but their own shadows.
"I'm the light that radiates everything no matter how big this space is, and as you can see, this is how powerful I am. I rule everything that got exposed by my light," Helen explained as she looked at the vast space that got exposed by her light. "But no matter how radiating my light is, the moment there is a shadow, I can't rule over that darkness. That darkness is you, Mykel," Helen pointed out as she stared Mykel in the eyes.
"Your existence is the opposite of me. No matter how hard I try to prevent any darkness to exist, no matter where I go, you will always find a way to exist. Your existence is so small and yet so powerful. Do you know why?" Helen asked as she squinted her eyes.
"Darkness exists anywhere without needing any light, and darkness can exist even in the brightest place," Mykel answered. "So I have existed long before you do," Mykel pointed out as he squinted his eyes.
"You're wrong. Darkness is nothingness, a mere absence of light. Without me, you wouldn't exist, so we both came at the same time," Helen answered as she shook her head. "But you're not wrong about one thing. You can exist even after the light disappears. You're no longer just a mere darkness, but a living one," Helen pointed out.
Helen's words indicated that even if she died, Mykel could still exist and that was the best thing. But, on the other hand, her last words about him as a living darkness, meant he would need a light to take or devour the other darkness.
"You're slowly devouring my light," Helen said as the shadow that Mykel had created started to expand. "A mere darkness that couldn't do anything suddenly became so powerful. Once the darkness could eat the light, would it be satisfied or would it be looking for another source of light?" Helen asked as she snapped her fingers and brought everyone back.
Mykel stood there and looked at Helen, but then he raised his eyebrows, "Is that it? How is that your business knowing you won't exist to know the answer?"
Helen raised her eyebrows and was quite shocked by the answer she got.
"I hope you don't regret it, Mykel," Helen said and flicked her fingers, sending Elena and Amaryllis away to the other side of the universe.
"That's none of your business," Mykel fixed his gloves as he walked toward Helen.
