Chapter 262 Lost cause.

Aurea looked at her trembling hand and she felt somewhat fear after when she was too close to that woman. Of course, that didn't make her stop from attacking that woman, and she turned that fear into excitement. The woman stared at Aurea with pity, and that only pissed Aurea off as she grew bigger and bigger.

Seeing how Aurea had turned gigantic, bigger than the fight she had with Ahura Mazda, the woman looked up at her. A fist that could destroy galaxies with a single swing was coming down toward her.

The woman slowly lifted her left hand and blocked the punch with her tiny palm compared to Aurea's hand. Like Earth trying to crush a flea, but she blocked it, and the fact she didn't move an inch after that impact made Aurea furious.

The woman heard explosions in the distance and saw supernovas everywhere from that punch alone. She then tried to push Aurea's hand away from her, but that was when she realized Aurea's growth was slowly going to catch up with her.

She had no other choice but to use the [Equilibrium Shift], [Hellion], and [Mephistopheles] skills to suck the power and tilt the balance. Aurea who noticed that didn't hesitate to throw another punch with her other hand.

Knowing how powerful Aurea had become, the woman activated [Inertia], [Belligerent], [Fever], and [Absolute] to enhance her power. She took the blow and managed to hold Aurea's attack off, but she took quite damage from it.@@@@

She managed to hold Aurea's hands by wrapping her wings around them by using [Glacial Heart], [Pyrexia], [Irenic], and [Zealous] skills and kept sucking the power within her. Slowly but surely, Aurea became smaller and smaller until the effect of her [Lunacy] skill disappeared.

Aurea finally came back to her senses, but she became as weak as an infant. The woman caught her and held her in her arms as she looked down at her with a gentle smile.

"Luciel? No, Beldathiel? Wait... who are you?" Aurea asked weakly with her eyes squinted.

"You can call us Metatron since we are similar to them but better. You can just call one of our names, or Luciel will be fine either since this is her body," Luciel answered.

"What's this? Are you trying to copy me or something?" Aurea asked as she scoffed.

Luciel chuckled, but then she collapsed and all the eleven sisters came out of Luciel's body. Aurea couldn't move a muscle on her body, so all she could do was watch her sisters' bodies float in space just like hers.

That short fight was enough to drain everyone's power and strength. They were all staring at space like fireworks since the supernovas were still happening. Suddenly Beldathiel spread her wings and pulled everyone to her sides.

They all looked at her and noticed she had a huge grin on her face that looked so lovely.

"I don't think we have done a sleepover together. This feels like one, so let's enjoy this moment until we recharge our strength," Beldathiel said as she looked at her sisters next to her.

"I never thought your wings were this comfortable to sleep on. No wonder Elena loves to sleep with you," Aurea said and felt sleepy from touching the wings.

"That's if she doesn't have anyone to help her," Lyneth said as she landed right behind Jeanne. "She's not alone, and death doesn't mean anything to us either," Lyneth pointed out as she healed Jeanne.

Lucifer looked at the dead bodies and they all got back to life as if they had just woken up from sleep with no scratches on their bodies. He then looked at Jeanne who had recovered and she could use her right hand again Thanks to Lyneth's power.

"This world is a lost cause," Lucifer chuckled with a smirk.

Jeanne dashed forward and flapped her wings to finish her job as soon as she could. But, when she got close to Lucifer, something felt off about him and the way he smirked at her. When she was close enough to him, chains made of gold shackled her limbs and neck.

Jeanne lost all her powers and she became as weak as a human because of the shackles. She didn't even have the strength to wiggle her arms and legs, and then a sword pierced through her chest. The same colorless fire burned her body, but she didn't even flinch or scream in pain because the armor made her immune to pain except for the pain from within her body.

"You fell for it," Lucifer said as he stared into Jeanne's melted face.

Jeanne suddenly smirked and the shackles shattered into pieces. She then swung her sword and decapitated Lucifer since caught him off guard. She fell as her body started to regenerate Thanks to Lyneth who freed her from the shackle.

Michael and the others watched as Lucifer's body collapsed, but they didn't show any reaction. That was a bit odd, and so Rozan warned Jeanne that Lucifer might be able to come back to life.

Jeanne didn't hesitate to mince Lucifer's body until it became small chunks of meat. When she thought it would be enough to prevent Lucifer from resurrecting, a crack in space appeared right in front of Jeanne.

She didn't think twice and immediately grabbed Lyneth and flew as far as she could from there. She had no idea who would come out of the crack, and when she turned around, she was glad that she did that.

"What the fuck is that bright light?" Rozan asked as he tried to look at the crack.

"I think that's The Lord from another reality," Shelly answered as she readied her staff. "This is not a good sign," Shelly added.

Everyone gathered around Jeanne since they didn't want to get separated knowing The Lord had shown himself. But they were surprised when the Archangels went straight to the crack and stopped the battle.

Lucifer who had been minced to pieces came back to life so easily, and it wouldn't be a surprise. He looked at Jeanne with a smirk, but then turned around and went to the crack.

"What are they doing?" Brynhilde asked.

"Who knows, just be prepared for the worst," Jeanne answered as she held her sword so tightly.
