Destroying My Own World

Chapter 247 In an instant.

Chapter 247 In an instant.

Mara started to realize that each of them had the same ability that could keep up with her power. She was sent so far away from The Lord without her realizing it, and she realized they already knew about her power.

Although she had the [Predominance] skill, the scale of her growth and their growth stayed the same. She couldn't kill them as they could overpower her power by banding together. They had become a unity, sharing one mind, and became impossible to deal with.

She had to make some distance between her and them while at the same time trying to find a way to kill them. She had no choice but to go further away from The Lord since they kept pushing her away and prevented her from getting way stronger.

Mara suddenly chuckled and laughed in the middle of the fight as Lilith and the others tried to get rid of her Void Clouds. They were curious why she was laughing, and if they ignored it, they would be ignorant by not knowing anything.

"Why are you laughing?" Lilith asked as she stopped the others from attacking Mara.

"You're all almost as dumb as Mykel Alester, and Lucifer is the dumbest being I have ever seen," Mara said as she kept her Void Clouds around her to protect her. "I guess Mykel's hunch and luck always saved him when he was in need. He's totally different from that moron," Mara added with a huge smile.

"When are you all going to learn?" Mara asked as she looked at each one of them.

That insult no longer impacted them because of their new skill which made them almost a perfect being. They appreciated the thoughts of Mara for revealing what was on her mind rather than hiding it from them.

"Hmm, so boring. You're no longer savages, and even after letting you eat those pitiful humans called Adam, you're all still as dumb as blind as before," Mara said as she kept them occupied with curiosity.

"What are you trying to say?" Belphegor asked.

"Isn't that obvious based on what I just said earlier? That I knew you would go for that man and kill him and the humans in heaven?" Mara asked back with her eyebrows raised. "He presented him to you like a gift. You thought that he didn't know? You thought you did that to get the upper hand?" Mara asked again.

"When are you doing to realize everything that you have done and what you will do are like walking in a path that appears in front of your eyes? Predictable," Mara pointed out with a smirk. "Everything has been predicted from the start, your first rebellion and this as well. He made you all walk this path, and the freedom and free will that you have are nothing but an illusion that he created," Mara explained.

They understood what Mara was trying to say, but they didn't take all those words, only a few of them. They believed in Lucifer and they were confident that it would be different this time.

"Kill me..." Lucifer said in a trembling voice. "Kill me!" Lucifer yelled and his voice echoed throughout the Kingdom.

"I can bring them all back and forgive everything that happened. All you have to do is to ask for forgiveness," The Lord said.

"Never. I would rather die than see them becoming mindless and soulless who only obey everything you said," Lucifer answered without hesitation. "You asked me to kneel once in front of Adam, and I won't kneel even if you torture me for eternity. Right now, I will make the same choice again," Lucifer added.

The Lord sat down and looked at Lucifer without saying a single word as he listened to Lucifer asking to be killed.

"Then I shall punish you for what you have done. You will feel the true loneliness for eternity," The Lord said as he moved his finger and sent Lucifer away.

Mara landed right behind the throne and she watched it from the distance.

"Why don't you let him die?" Mara asked.

"Killing my own creation means I'm regretting my own decision. I love them all equally, and I will always love them no matter what," The Lord answered calmly.

Mara could feel the sadness in The Lord's words, she didn't understand and she didn't really care about it. She was created to be his weapon since he didn't want to harm his own creation. She knew about it from the moment she was born and she didn't mind as long as her wish was fulfilled.

"How long until Mykel arrived?" Mara asked.

The Lord glanced at something in the distance and he casually moved his index finger. Mara was confused and looked in the direction where he was looking. She then saw something was falling, body parts and she had no idea there was someone who had been watching them.

"He won't be here for a while now that he knows everything," The Lord answered.

"It seems I have to patiently wait for him to come," Mara said with her eyes closed.
