Chapter 222 The will.

Sasha, Mara, and Uriel were planning on the move they would make, but then Mara and Uriel turned around, looking at the distance. Sasha was confused why suddenly they both were frozen still until she looked in the direction those two were looking at. She didn't realize it at first until she felt her chest start to hurt because of the pressure.

"They're here, but I don't feel him," Uriel said as she spread her wings. "I never thought they would come so soon," Uriel added and then flew up high into the sky.

Mara and Sasha followed Uriel and looked at who those people were. The moment the trees didn't block Sasha's vision anymore, she could see a massive portal had been opened. It was so ominous that her heart started to beat really fast and how the feeling grew on her.

"Of course, they would be here. They came for me, and they're not stupid enough to let me live for another day," Mara pointed out as she spread her Void Clouds and covered the sky, showing Elena and the others her position. "He's not here, I'm disappointed, but I don't mind killing them first," Mara added.

"They can't be killed. They're under the system and they can come back to life. I don't think we can do anything about them unless the system is gone," Sasha pointed out.

"That doesn't matter. If I can't kill them, I'll just have to make them suffer," Mara replied and covered the whole continent with Void Clouds. "They're in my world, and nobody could hurt me here," Mara continued.

Elena and the others looked at the Void Clouds and it weakened their strength a bit, but that didn't bother them. Shelly touched the cloud and she could see how it was made and how it worked. She then clenched her fist, and that surprised everyone that she could undo the Void Clouds.

Mara was shocked by it as well and saw the Void Clouds dispersing slowly so she had to redo everything again. When she tried to rebuild the clouds, Luciel appeared right in front of her and slashed her sword at her.

Mara managed to block it with the clouds and made herself become one with it. Luciel was surprised that Mara was unaffected by her [Absolute] skill, and how Mara could dodge it in the last second. She took it too lightly and now she has lost her chance to kill Mara in a single hit.

"It would be wise if you were not here," Jeanne said and appeared right behind Sasha.

Elena didn't bother by it and kept her foot on Sasha's chest as the ground they were standing on slowly drifted away. Sasha was speechless, dumbfounded, and petrified when there would be someone who could destroy a continent in just a single move.

"You're terrified by that and yet you brought something terrifying. This is nothing, and something like this will occur from here and out," Elena said as she looked down at Sasha. "Anyway, I'm wondering about something. Why don't you use that scroll inside your body? Are you sure you're going to let this all happen and let Mara die immediately?" Elena asked with her eyebrows raised.

"Whatever you know about me and what kind of situation I'm in, they're nothing but speculation. You know nothing about me, and you will never know," Sasha paused as she held Elena's foot. "When the time is right, I'm going to use it and I can assure you that you won't know when it comes," Sasha continued and then slowly lifted Elena's foot from her.

Elena was surprised by the sudden strength that Sasha possessed even though she didn't use a lot of strength to put Sasha down, it was still a surprise. She slowly added more strength to her foot and pushed it down, but the more she added strength, the stronger Sasha became.

"Why are you so surprised?" Sasha asked back as she kept pushing Elena's foot away from her. "Don't you know much about the Caveat Scroll, Elena?" Sasha asked. Continue your adventure at empire

Elena was thinking about it as she kept pushing her foot down, and she remembered what Mykel had said about the Caveat Scroll. The Scroll was The Lord's will itself, and then she looked Sasha in the eye who seemed to know what she was thinking about.

"Now you know, right? No matter how powerful you are, The Scroll will overpower all the obstacles since it's The Lord's will," Sasha pointed out as she managed to get the foot a few inches away from her chest. "You can't kill me, you can't defeat me, and more importantly, you can't outmatch me," Sasha added as she pushed Elena's foot away from her and immediately distanced herself from Elena.

"Are you going to fight me?" Elena asked with her eyebrows raised.

"It's not the time yet. We will meet again soon, Elena. Say hi to Mykel," Sasha answered and then light orbs started to appear around her.

Elena moved through space and she appeared in front of Sasha almost instantly, but when she was about to grab Sasha's neck, she already disappeared. Not only her, but the same thing also appeared on the Void Cloud and under the ground. Uriel and Mara got warped somewhere and Amaryllis couldn't track them anymore.

"What a letdown," Elena said as she looked at the sky where the Void Clouds dissipated.
