Chapter 306 Neat and tidy
Chapter 306 Neat and tidy
"Don't be too scared. After all, there are more of us. Just wait for Brother Qiang to give the orders. Our biggest advantage over the map boss is our intelligence! If Said can't beat us, maybe we can with all our teams attacking together!"
The player in position two was speaking with great enthusiasm, unaware of the deathly silence behind him.
"What do you think of Said's intelligence?" A somewhat muffled voice came from beside me.
"These NPCs are all pretty much the same, right? I remember Said used to be like an idiot, but it feels like he suddenly became stronger a while ago..." As the second player was speaking, he suddenly felt that the third player's voice was a bit strange, and he turned his head to look at the arm on his shoulder.
"?" A red arm in a combat uniform was draped over his shoulder.
The player in position three frowned slightly. Where did this guy get a combat suit? Wasn't all this equipment issued by the White Eagles just a couple of days ago?
Turning his head, he saw a bright red mask in front of him, with a pair of eyes staring straight at him from beneath it.
"Said..." The second person managed to squeeze out a faint sound from his throat, his lips drained of color.
"Hi!" A hoarse voice came from under Said's mask. Then Said took off the glasses he used for the live broadcast and threw them on the ground and stomped on them.
Immediately afterward, before the second-place player could even scream, his live-streaming glasses, which were hanging in front of his eyes, were swept off by Said's hand and casually thrown onto the concrete ground, where they shattered into pieces under the weight of Said's boots.
The second player's gaze trembled as he slowly moved to the other side, while the third player's neck was already being tightly gripped by Said.
His live-streaming glasses were already broken, his face was bruised and purple from suffocation, and he was making desperate gurgling sounds in his throat, his eyes rolled back and he couldn't say a word.
"Ah...ah..." The second position was filled with extreme terror, but Said held his shoulder down. At such close range, he couldn't even lift his gun. The immense force on his shoulder made him unable to move.
"That Han Che you're talking about," Said slowly spoke, under the horrified gaze of the person in position two, "is he in the computer room across the street?"
The number two nodded, his voice trembling.
"Very good." Said nodded slightly. He tossed the two limp men to the ground like trash, and they were finally able to catch their breath.
"Go, go to the computer room and kill him, kill that guy named Han Che," Said commanded coldly, his tone leaving no room for argument.
"But...but..." The second player, clutching his still-painful neck, wanted to say something, but was silenced by a look from Said.
Said gave him no chance to explain; he simply raised the M249 machine gun, its dark muzzle aimed at the head of the second-in-command.
"I'm not negotiating with you," Said interrupted coldly. "Either you charge over there now, or I'll make sure you become part of the dam forever after Dam Zero is finished."
The two men nodded repeatedly in fright. They understood what Said meant: to be lost in the dam, to truly disappear here.
"Charge forward, don't look back. I want to see if you really have the ability to take him down."
They had no choice but to obey orders. The two men picked up their weapons and mechanically and stiffly ran in the direction they had just fled from.
Every step I took was trembling.
Said watched them rush out of the connecting corridor and run straight towards the computer room from behind.
The moment the two figures reached the end of the corridor, before they could even fully reveal themselves, several straight gunshots, bullets with tail flames powerful enough to penetrate anything, pierced precisely through the center of the third person's head.
Another headless corpse collapsed to the ground instantly. The body twitched twice and then became completely still.
The other member was terrified by the sudden death. He screamed and backed away, desperately trying to run back and escape. But before he could take more than a few steps, he was suddenly confronted by that fiery red gaze.
Said stood at the end of the corridor, staring intently at him.
"Aaaaaaahhhhhh!!" A piercing scream rang out, and then he shoved the gun barrel into his throat. With a bang, a flash of gunfire erupted, and blood splattered onto the walls of the corridor.
Finally, the three members of Squad 2 were able to lie down neatly together, just a few steps away from the right door of the computer room.
Said watched this scene coldly and expressionlessly, clicked his tongue, and shook his head slightly, "A bunch of useless trash."
The figure then gradually disappeared at the end of the corridor.
……
"What's wrong with these guys?" Qi Yuzhe looked up from the M700's scope. "Open fire without cover?"
He muttered to himself as he watched the enemy crash straight into his crosshairs and then fall asleep.
Han Che was looting supplies for Squad 1 with Boss Jin on the other side of the computer room when he heard gunshots. He ignored Boss Jin, who was still happily looting, and rushed back, asking, "What happened?"
"I don't know. This team rushed over like crazy, and one of them even committed suicide. This team must have been wiped out too."
"Huh? You whistled?" Han Che asked, puzzled.
"No!" Qi Yuzhe explained.
"Then why is that? Why is the pressure so great?"
"I don't know... I just feel like something's not right," Qi Yuzhe said, frowning.
"Check their bodies," Han Che said. "We'll go together, you hold the gun for me."
After a moment's thought, Qi Yuzhe finally nodded, "Okay!"
Pushing open the door, the corridor was covered in blood, and several corpses lay around the corner.
Han Che and Qi Yuzhe cautiously slipped out of the room, anticipating potential enemy locations as they advanced in tandem.
As they reached the corner, Han Che raised his hand to indicate that they were ready, and Qi Yuzhe reached out and patted Han Che on the shoulder.
Logically speaking, this was the first time the two had truly fought side by side, but their tacit understanding was so great that they were able to coordinate with each other with almost no unnecessary movements.
Han Che bent down and squatted down, silently counting in his mind.
Qi Yuzhe stood with his gun at the ready, and the two of them pulled out simultaneously from two angles, one above and one below the corner.
There was nothing at the other end of the corridor.
Without further hesitation, Han Che grabbed a headless corpse and pulled it back behind cover.
After searching around, I found level 4 armor, a partially modified gun, and level 4 ammunition. The equipment was exactly the same as the team I had just killed over there.
Han Che shook his head. "Nothing's wrong."
Qi Yuzhe frowned. "Is it just that they've gone mad? They were able to throw grenades and advance in unison just now, and now they've suddenly lost their minds?"
"I don't know, but their synchronized actions just now were probably directed by the gunshot downstairs, right?" Han Che analyzed.
"Yeah, I think so too, but I didn't hear any command shots that might have signaled them to charge..." Qi Yuzhe said, puzzled.
Then he suddenly remembered something, "Han Che! Where's Boss Jin?"
"Huh?" Han Che was also taken aback. "I was looting over there when I heard you fire your gun, so I called him back!"
"I can't see him in the computer room!" Qi Yuzhe said urgently, "Let's go back!"
